ECOOPE aims to reduce youth unemployment particularly in countries with high unemployment, such as Portugal and Spain, through the dissemination and implementation of successful and innovative entrepreneurial education methodologies and courses. The project will identify best practices from across Europe, which will be incorporated into a manual on model cooperative entrepreneurial programs. An innovative cooperative entrepreneurial program for secondary schools will be designed, as well as an Erasmus cooperative intra-entrepreneur program where selected university students receive a scholarship to spend 1-3 months in a European cooperative, working in a team composed of 3-4 students from different disciplines and countries on an innovation challenge launched by the cooperative. This project is coordinated by the University of Cantabria.
